He was usually picked on at school. Being the biggest Spider-Man follower, he saw him as Spider-Man's alter ego, Peter Parker. After attending several different schools, such as Priory Preparatory School and City of London Freemen's School the actor took classes at Central School of Speech and Drama and the University of London where he received his degree in 2004. When he realized that he was bored of business He began to get more involved in the field of acting. The beginning of his career came in 2005 when he starred in the British television show "Sugar Rush". In the movie "Boy A" in which he was an unruly young man who tried to rebuild his life after spending the last few years in prison. Also, he appeared in "The Social Network,"" in the role of the lead followed by the movie "The Amazing Spider-Man." Being able to perform a range of roles, his role was chosen as the lead actor in the historical documentary "Silence" in the year 2016. He received countless awards like the BAFTA Award, Tony Award in addition to an A.A.C.T.A. Following his performance in Hacksaw Ridge in the film, he received the honor of "Best Actor". He also received countless Oscar nominations as well being able to collaborate together with Sam Worthington and Campbell Scott.
