Bellamy Young
Young began her acting career in the theatre. She was Mary in the original line-up, Young gave her Broadway premiere in the role of Mary on Broadway in 1997. The show also featured her off-Broadway performance in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Rolled Along (1994) and as Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-96). The actress made her debut in the television world in 1995 with Dr. Courtney Evans. Both in 1997 and 1998 she played a cameo in Law & Order, playing two different roles. Her debut came in 1999 in a character on Black and White, a crime drama. She later appeared on various independent movies. At the start of 2000, she began guest-starring parts on various comedy and drama shows on television, which included The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young has appeared on over 30 television shows from 2000 and 2011. As of 2003, Young got a role as a regular in the USA Network show Peacemakers. The series was canceled after one season of nine episodes. The actress was a regular character on the Lifetime show For the People, a crime drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs, as Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06), ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). Between 2011 and 2013, she played Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds.
