Katherine Jean Bolduan known by the title Kate Bolduan in her profession is a journalist from American heritage. She is most well-known as anchoring CNN's morning show At This Hour. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN Monday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage of both the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. She has also served as an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. In her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on legislative events and congressional events such as talks to increase the federal debt limit and super committee discussion. Bolduan was an associate reporter on general assignments. She covered such reports such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare. She also covered the introduction of stimulus plans for 2009. She began working for CNN the year 2007 to become a national correspondent with CNN Newsource. As a national reporter, she provided breaking news coverage and feature news for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV.
