Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American lawyer and author who worked at Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct law professor at New York Law School. Before that she served as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual and National Public Radio. She has appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File The Kelly File, featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs along with the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She has the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was previously an US Attorney. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues on NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She served as a professor of law and an appointment at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
