Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and a former supermodel. Her stunning beauty as well as her successes in the field of film are a testament to her skills as an actor. Dana White was impressed and brought Rose into UFC's strawweight division when she was 22, in December 2014. Rose has had highs and she's also experienced lows throughout her professional career, but she always came out on the top. Rose fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. She was awarded the Women's Strawweight Championship and was also named the"Fighter of the Night. It was the very first time that a female wrestled in a major event for a championship. Namajunas had a number of wins following this one, and was named Performance Of The Night by UFC for her victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
